Entry Requirements for Charkin Maritime Academy (CMA) Associate Certificate Programmes
To qualify for the Associate Certificate Programme in Nautical Science or Marine Engineering, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Academic Requirements:
- A minimum of WAEC/NECO/NABTEB or GCE O’Level certificate.
- Five credit passes, including English Language, Mathematics, Physics, and any two other science subjects.
- A National Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field is also acceptable.
- Age Requirement:
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
- There is no maximum age limit.
- Physical and Medical Fitness:
- Candidates must be physically, mentally, and medically fit to undertake the programme.

Follow these steps to apply for the Associate Certificate Programme at Charkin Maritime Academy:
- Visit the CMA Main Campus located at Km 4, East-West Road, Ozuoba, Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
- Complete the application form in person at the campus.
- If you cannot visit the campus, you may request the application form via email, fill it out, and submit it electronically.
- The application fee is NGN 10,000.
Successful candidates will be informed of their admission status within one week of submitting the application.
